Lisa Folland (nee Holdsworth) was born in Yorkshire England where she grew up as the youngest of three children. A representative gymnast who went on to study at the University of Wales where she achieved an honours degree in PE and Education specialising in Sports Psychology, and then on to Loughborough University where she completed a post graduate certificate in Education.

She has travelled widely and taught in England, The US and New Zealand. Lisa now lives with her husband Dale and their lovely children Emily and Jack in Auckland, New Zealand.

After a teaching career spanning 15 years, frustrated with the endless paperwork, meetings and poor pay, she and Dale started a network marketing business they run from home. Lisa successfully fits in work and speaking engagements around her family commitments and has recently completed her first book, “The Attractive Mum.” A light hearted book that she wrote after herself overcoming the feelings of guilt, regret, frustration and low self esteem often associated with the reality of being a mum. It aims to help all mothers feel good about themselves and their lives.
